And it ain’t just for the Buddhists, either…
(But they’re welcome, too.)
I created The Sexy Buddhist because I wanted a place where Eastern teachings could blend with Western ideals, a place where I could write about life as an American 20-something and the life lessons I’ve learned.
Buddhism & Beauty Products, Spirituality & Shopping…
What it comes down to is this: Don’t box me in!!! If you’ve ever felt that way, you are in the right place.
A student of spirituality, I’ve discovered that many people think these teachings have little bearing on our fast-paced lives–that they’re best left to be studied in communes or yoga retreats. But in seeking this path, I’ve realized that not only is this information relevant, but it’s increasingly necessary-a dose of wisdom in a world where there is little to be found.
Applying these teachings doesn’t require giving up your Starbucks habit or your Nordstrom account. I’m still enamored with social media and shellac manicures. It’s entirely possible to enjoy the amenities of our very blessed existence–but also possible to feel the freedom of not being so attached to our material world.
Besides this blog, I also run a business helping women lose weight while eating what they love–no dieting allowed. Check me out over at www.themindapproach.com
The Sexy Buddhist is meant to be a place where people can explore spirituality and personal development without uprooting their lives. All different views are welcomed and encouraged.
